Wish You Were Here Postcards – An Old Ute in Clare Valley, South Australia

by Amanda McInerney on 04/06/2014

Outlived it’s usefulness? In this case, not quite – and oh, the road stories it could tell. Most of us are happy to trade in our old, past-it vehicles, but apparently not all of us. This rusted old beauty may be fading, but the bones are still there. It is obviously still prized and sits in pride of place next to the front gate of a farm in South Australia’s Clare Valley.

Okay, I had to laugh at ‘may be fading’. Only in Australia. :) It’s definitely been a wise investment.

It’s wicked, love seeing old cars like this, you just know they’d have a wicked story to tell.

Not sure that ‘old girl’ would make it through rego! That’s quite a restoration project but yes, ‘oh the stories she can tell’ xx
