New competition – Win one of two brilliant Silpat Baking Mats

28/03/2012 | By

I always get very excited when I come across something that I truly and seriously love – whether that be  a book, a new idea, a special dish or a great kitchen tool.  I just can’t wait to share my finds, but I would never mention or endorse anything by name or brand here on my blog that I didn’t use and enjoy myself.

Such was the case a few weeks back when I boasted of the haul of the amazing Silpat Baking Mats that I brought back from the United States.  These amazing mats are totally, completely and utterly non-stick.  They are safe from  temperature range of -40°C to 250°C, freezer, microwave and oven safe, wipe clean, never need greasing, conform to Australian food regulations on food grade silicone, are extraordinarily durable and can be used thousands of times.  They come in a range of sizes and I wouldn’t bother using anything else as a baking sheet since I discovered them.

Everten Online is one of my favourite on-line shopping haunts for all things kitchen related and this week those very cuddly folk have given me two size 13″x18″ – perfect for a cookie tray – of these brilliant baking basics to give away.

1.  I will award one each of these mats to two lucky winners and entry is open to anyone – I’m happy to post anywhere in the world.

2.  Enter using either your Facebook account or email address in the box below.

3.  Clearly, the more times you enter, the more chance you have to win one of the two mats. You can enter in various ways and you will receive one entry for each of the tasks below that you complete.  If you choose to Tweet about the competition daily, you will receive another entry each day you Tweet.  If you “Like” Lambs Ears and Honey and Everten on Facebook, you will receive two entries.

4.  The competition will conclude on 11 April 2012 and the winner will be announced on this page and emailed direct by me.

I’m trying out a new (to me) method for running these giveaways – please let me know what you think of it.

I love Everten online, they have the best prices for my Shun Knives! I don’t do facebook or Twitter, I just don’t seem to have the time or know-how. Maybe one day I’ll get my kiddies to teach me, they just seem to learn by osmosis 🙂

    Hi Amanda,

I’m just starting to bake and my most used recipe is for chop chip cookies and I use an small ice cream scoop to have that shop look feel.
    They taste fantastic =)

White choc and macadamia cookies I’d try on these. And I’m loving the idea of no more glad bake in the bottom drawer in my kitchen – one less sharp box for my kids to throw themselves out is most welcome!
