Wish You Were Here Postcards – Turkey

Grumpy, bad-tempered, spitting – me?! Never. I saw this splendidly arrayed, but seriously restrained, camel on the side of the road in the geographically intriguing region of Cappadoccia in Turkey. He (she? – I didn’t check) looked all laid back and patient, but I’m pretty sure that muzzle was there for a reason!

Isn’t Cappadocia incredible? One of my favourite places in the world!

Great photo and I know a couple of people who could benefit from borrowing that muzzle. 🙂

Maureen is so funny! I’ve had a ride on a camel. It wasn’t as beautifully dressed as this camel though. It was in Noosa and there was a man who would take you for camel rides along the beach. When we were last in Noosa we tried to find him so we could again have a sunrise ride along the beach but alas, the council has shut him down! Progress! xx

If it is the same camel, it snarled at me! Scared me to death! 🙂

    What a gorgeous set-up, but I prefer four wheel drive 🙂 x
