Method
- Peel the 8 oranges, making sure to remove all the bitter white pith. Slice thickly and arrange on serving dish.
- Put all other ingredients, except the rosewater, into a saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Boil for 5-10 minutes to reduce and thicken the syrup.
- When thickened, remove from heat and add the rosewater.
- Set aside to cool. When cooled, pour over the oranges. Serve at room temperature.
