I’m away from Balhannah at the moment, but this is what I’m missing in the Adelaide Hills.
I’m currently spending a little bit of time exploring the sights of Auckland in New Zealand – a truly gorgeous city. Spending time away from home is part of the job description for anyone who writes a travel blog, but I’m only over here for a few days, so am unlikely to get the chance to be homesick – however I thought I’d share a few images of my beautiful Balhannah views with you – just in case.
The fruit trees are beginning to blossom and the night-time temperatures are creeping up, which means spring is coming – and it’s very welcome this year. However, once the warm weather arrives we lose these misty, mysterious Adelaide Hills mornings that I love so much.
As in my previous Balhannah post, these images were all taken at around the same time in the morning and I’ve used no filters – what you see here is more or less what I see from my back yard. Jealous much?

Pity you are only here for a few days – Amanda – and only in Auckland – enjoy!

Yep, just a little jelly of your views xx

You certainly have a very beautiful backyard. I can see signs of Spring in my much smaller backyard and yes, very keen for Spring this year. What a winter! I hope you had a wonderful time in NZ xx
